Professor Pat Langhorne’s research investigates the physics of the polar oceans and the cryosphere, as well as sea ice physical processes.
In the Antarctic Science Platform, Pat will examine the physical and isotopic properties of the sea ice, down-current from the Ross Ice Shelf, and its crystallographic structure to understand ice shelf cavity processes.
