Professor Miles Lamare’s core research is in the reproductive biology, physiology and ecology of marine invertebrates, particularly Echinodermata, Brachiopoda, molluscs, and polar fish. His interest is in the effects of climate and environmental changes on developmental stages (gametes, embryos, larval stages). In the Antarctic Science Platform, Miles will examine the physiology (growth, feeding, movement, and life‐history strategies) of benthic (nearshore) coastal communities. He is co-leader of ASP Project 3.
