Dr Christina Riesselman is a Senior Lecturer. Christina’s research focus is on Antarctica and the Southern Ocean response to a changing climate. Time intervals of interest include the warm Pliocene and the transition into Pleistocene cooling, and the last deglaciation and Holocene.
In the Antarctic Science Platform, Christina will use stable isotope geochemistry and diatom micropaleontology in marine sediments to understand modern and past climates in Antarctica and the Southern Ocean. She is co-leader of ASP Project 2.
